Treasurer's Report: (Didn't connect with Ruth Peer to get the Treasurer's Report this month.)
News about Our Members:
We have had two deaths since our last meeting. Ruth Ellis died in December, 2012, and Wynell King died in January, 2013.
Projects Report:
Our annual Christmas Project was Christmas for Suzanne Brown's Kindergarten at Tarrant Elementary School.
Suzanne Brown, Dorothy Taylor, Dianne Tolbert, Betty Efird and Brenda Moxley met at Target in Trussville to purchase gifts for the students Christmas bags.
The Christmas Party was December 19, 2012. Dianne Tolbert read Christmas stories to the students, Suzanne Brown and Dorothy Taylor helped students with Christmas Crafts, and students played Hot Potato to a Chicken Dance Chicken with Brenda Moxley. Time prevented students playing a Santa Toss game, but Mrs. Brown kept the Santa Claus board and marshmallows (for throwing through Santa's mouth.) to use with students as a special treat on the last day of school before Christmas.
Below are some photographs of that day. (Did not get photos of project. Will get those next month.)
